We’re opening a new home for Uninest in March of 2020!
Yup, you got it. It’s the KAMIKITA HOUSE!
We’re so excited!
Today, our staff went to go see the still under construction KAMIKITA HOUSE so allow me to share the experience!
As we walk towards the site from one of the nearest station, Kamikitazawa, we see…

AN ENORMOUS BUILDING…!!!!
Most of our staff members haven’t seen the venue yet, so we were all very stoked.
AND it’s not always that we get to see a building that is still under construction!

As we were being explained of what’s going to be built where, we all imagined the lively atmosphere that is soon to come after it opens.。

But! Before we start anything, we need helmets. Safety first, kids!
1F outdoor corridor and garden
We went straight to the shared kitchen since the lounge and living room weren’t ready yet.
The picture above is the outdoor passage on the way.

In the evening, the lights will be on so can you imagine how even nicer it’s gonna look?
And that door in the middle is the entrance to the shared kitchen!

Of course, there will be kitchenware by the time you guys arrive, so don’t worry.
There you see, tables and sofas in the middle. Oh boy, I can just picture students cooking, eating and having an amazing time here!
We’re also embedding LCD monitors on the walls so you can watch movies or youtube videos while you eat!
Just from all of this, you can tell it’s better than living alone in an apartment…!
We’ll also have ovens, microwaves, and rice cookers, so you can cook all kinds of meals!
If you’re not so much of a cook, then… maybe your friends will cook for you…?
Then you’ve GOT to make friends quickly here at Kamikita! It’s either that or you learn how to cook… or both!
Isn’t this just exciting? I’m already hyped up!
